What’s your return policy?
Return any of our products within 20 days of purchase. Exchanges may be required depending on the return.
Do you offer art classes?
Yes, we have classes in the Artists’ Nook Studio. The studio has its own website http://www.artistsnookstudio.com. Instructors are independent service providers and are responsible for the policies of their classes. Stuart Art Supply and Studio, Inc. are not responsible for any programming in the studio.
What are your store hours?
We are open Monday – Friday 10 AM – 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM – 3 PM (Closed on most major holidays)
STUDIO HOURS: Vary depending on the instructors.
What is “The Creek” arts & entertainment District?
The Creek is a designated area of downtown Stuart that is home to many arts-related businesses. These businesses encourage other similar businesses to locate in the district. A plan is in place to create artistic murals on buildings in the district. The district hosts the monthly “Creek Walks on the 1st Friday of the month. All businesses are asked to partner with an artisan – visual and or musical during these monthly events.
Where are you located?
Stuart Art Supply and the Artists’ Nook Studio are located at 43 SE Kindred Street, Stuart. We are located next to the Hometown Cleaners near the Stuart Post Office on Johnson Avenue.
Do you offer special orders?
Whenever possible we can place an order for you. We work with some of the largest art material distributers. During the winter months, we order weekly and during the off-season every 2 – 3 weeks.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we offer discounts on most of our art supplies. Our stretched canvases (40% off), brushes (30% off), paper pads (25% off), paints, and mediums are 15% off. From time to time we offer additional discounts.
We have several options for discounts on Golden Paints, mediums, gels, and varnishes. These items 8 oz and above are available at 30% off all the time and 40% during the two back-to-school periods. These items may need to be specially ordered.
